Founded in Scandicci, Italy in 1969 the Il Ponte Pelleteria company created 'The Bridge' brand in 1975 to cater to the luxury leather goods market. Ever since The Bridge has been a by-word for affordable luxury and quality leather goods.

With a blend of traditional and modern manufacturing skills employed, The Bridge create leather goods which are both functional and beautifully constructed. The use of locally sourced full hide leathers which are tanned using vegetable matter ensures a soft, supple leather which is not only luxurious to the touch but has a glowing sheen hard to mimic with chemical tanning processes.
